Announcement
Welcome to Hound Street Boutique! My shop is all about dogs and how much we love our furry tail-waggers. To make your outings together easier (and stylish!), I make dog walking bags that allow you to conveniently bring just the needed essentials with you. For the little dogs with a big sense of adventure, I make dog sling purses that allow you to carry them with you on your outings. For the home, I custom embroider kitchen and bathroom towels that are as cute and beautiful as your dog.

Custom and personalized orders
Yes, I love custom orders! Please contact me with your questions and I will be happy to let you know if it is something I can do.
I generally do not have a "stock" of fabric on hand; I buy and then use it to make the items you see listed. If you would like an item that you see in my shop customized, please ask and I will let you know if your preferred fabric is something I can repurchase.
If you find fabric online or at a local shop that you would like me to make one of my items in for you, contact me so we can make arrangements to make it happen.
I only do custom orders for items you see in my shop. For example, I can customize a dog walking bag to fit your phone or add belt loops instead of a shoulder strap.
Care instructions
DOG WALKING BAGS:
All of the individual materials I use in making my bags are labeled by the manufacturer for cold water wash. I recommend air drying your bag. I do not pre-wash most of my fabrics so there may be some shrinkage, especially in the lining fabric. There could also be some bleeding in the dyes on the first few washes. If you choose to wash your bag, you may wish to use a "color catcher" to minimize this.
EMBROIDERED TOWELS:
I pre-wash all towels before embroidering to reduce any chance of shrinkage or distortion when you wash them. If the towel's manufacturer label states the towel is bleach safe, you should be able to safely bleach your towel. I use bleach-safe embroidery thread.
Care instructions
The kitchen "tea towels" have a naturally crinkly, wrinkled appearance. No amount of ironing will remove this! It is part of their charm. I have ironed them before and after embroidering them so you may notice they are more wrinkled after you first wash them. If you wish to touch them up with an iron before displaying them in your kitchen, you may safely do so. My embroidery thread is either polyester or rayon, so use that setting on your iron.
I always turn embroidered towels upside down and iron on the back side of the towel. This prevents the embroidery from being flattened and keeps it looking its best.
